I did it today, approached from the west via High Bridge Rd, Crescent Lk Rd, and 203rd Ave SE. The climb was pretty easy, the first bit of King Lake looked like it was paved with concrete (I didn't check it out further), and I took Lk Fontal Rd to where the pavement ended. I got up to 1050 ft. On the descent, I took Cherry Valley Rd to Hwy 203. That was one sweet descent! You could probably go all the way down without ever touching the brakes (I did brake, since it was the first time down and didn't know what to expect). The down side was I had to go along 203 south to Duval for a few miles with cars/trucks/MCs flying by inches away from me.
