I've been commuting for about two weeks now (10 miles each way) and I've yet to meet a blatantly discourtous driver. I've had a few drivers pull into the bike lane to make a right turn without looking, but I've avoided those accidents pretty well. I'd say the vast majority of drivers on my commute are very courteous, especially because at some points I probably slow them down a bit.
