For the record, I usually find making the phone call and talking to the live body at the other end to be more effective than e-mails. Companies like that get bazillions of e-mails each day and any number of things from unclear subject lines to spam filters can mean your e-mail doesn't get read.
And all of those non-warranty centers are really just third-party servicers who do it for a fee; I'm sure your money is just as good as anybody else's
