Commute home last night was a mixed bag. Huge storms between 5 and 6:30 p.m. emptied out the bike path area fronting Chicago's lake front-- so it was nice to ride with very few people around (for a change)-- despite the still falling rain and wet conditions I was able to keep up a pretty good pace because there was no one out.

However, I got a flat tire about halfway home-- not fun (paritcularly messy) to replace a tube in the rain, as it got darker, etc. Got it done. Still got home in about an hour.
