It's better than the road bike I had when I was 11... which actually happened to be a Huffy.
I won the bike in a church raffle, so I definitely got my money's worth for the $2 I spent! Any way, all bikes go only as fast as they're pedaled. Ask an experienced cyclist to make sure the seat is positioned correctly for you, take care of the bike, and it will do you fine. Have fun, and enjoy the riding!
