If you can find a crit training race that goes on every week in your area that would be the ticket.
After several weeks of doing these, I was able to go from hanging on in the crits to winning primes to winning out right. It was the best training I could ever do.
If not, 5x5s and even 7x3s work. And one I do as well is 6x2s with 2min rest, a 20min SST, then another 6x2s.
What are 5x5's? 5 Minutes on, 5 minutes off? 7 on, 3 off?
