How can you assume what people are thinking when they look at you and your bike. There is no bull**** on the velodrome. You either have speed or are working towards it or you don't. This young guy I work with won the B class on his home made bamboo bike on our local track. If anyone was saying stuff about him and and his bike I think he shut them up. The clock tells no lies.
When they snub you, refuse to talk to you, and won't cooperate with you on the magazine story your trying to do to try to get more and better exposure for the track to help it stay afloat, etc, it's pretty clear what they're thinking. And when they look at your bike and ask, "where the hell did you find that?" it's pretty clear too.
I don't particularly give a **** about what they're thinking, but I'm not about to put up with their crap either. The clock tells no lies, no, but there's plenty of room for stupid bull**** in the infield.
