In other words, spinning faster is not the only answer. Pay attention to the power meter and heart monitor, find equilibrium.
Ditto for me. I tried to spin the hell out of my legs in a low gear. I found myself blowing up on even modest climbs and struggling towards the end of long rides. I couldn't figure out why. I went back to a conservative 80 rpm cadence I was much faster over distance and not as tired on climbs.

Play to your strengths.
