If you want to fit a "classic quill stem" you need a fork with 1" threaded steerer, that simply will not fit a frame made for a 1 1/8" steerer.

Thank you for your help. I think I want to stick with the Steamroller as, from what I've gathered, it is one of the more versatile frames.

However, the Angus, with its classic quill stem, and prices about $100 less than the Steamroller, I'm taking a second look. Plus, it has better quality tubing you say?!?!?

"Hmm...", he says to himself stroking his nonexistent beard.

Decisions, decisions.

btw- I've been on reading over Bike Forums for the last 6 hours educating myself. So many questions answered leading to more questions aaahhhh!!!!!!! It's 5am. Time for sleep. (can't sleep, need bike- AAAHH!!!!!!!)
