No, my statement is that your area of Cary is obviously special and not what most of us encounter throughout the states.
Davis CA is also special, and sadly also not an example of the rest of the nation.
Yet there are those on this very thread that will contend that the treatments of Davis yield little for cyclists and are not needed for the rest of the nation.
