This is my first and last post in this thread. I largely agree with the above. Wearing a helmet will protect you against certain kinds of injuries, but not all of them. How you ride
is far more important. I believe I ride carefully enough to avoid being killed (I've done it so far OK), but we all make mistakes, hence I
choose to wear a helmet.
Incidentally, Can I ask why this thread needed all the cheap insults that people were going on with in the early part? It all seems a little unnecessary to me.
