I want to add to this post with my issue - I have a Joe Blow Sport and when I pump it the guage goes up - then back way down and never really reads right - although sometimes something happens mid pump and it just reads solid? It sounds like air is escaping somewhere in the guage area but I can't really confirm that? The head is brand new and works fine. Any suggestions?
