Nah, but I do get lost easily. I had in mind that I could mark my route if necessary when I'm in unfamiliar territory. I've never actually used it though and it's leaking out of the plastic bag I had it in and getting all over everything in my bag. I should really take it out.
I could write the license plate # of the SUV that hit me on the sidewalk with it if I was together enough to do that, though I suppose.
