That's what you wrote. I took you at your word as providing the meaning that you attached to your own words. That is not the definition in either the AASHTO Guide, or in California law, as I provided to you. Of course, there are others here who provide wider definition of bikeway than you do, for example Bekologist who insists that all roads are bikeways, but your error is sufficient in itself without getting into those other errors.
