Agreed.

Through user error I'm sure I had a front flat, explosive, almost certainly due to my not having seated one side of the tire correctly. 24mph, BOOM, guessing the bead let go, tube pushed out leaving a 4" gash in the tube. That side of the tire blew off but the other side stayed on the rim, I was able to safely slow and stop. Might have been another story with a "looser" tire that might have come off totally.

That was my first and so far only flat. There I said it, guess I'm flatting this week sometime.
