Go to a local hardware, truck stop, or motorcycle shop and buy a glove in the style you posted (fingerless/half-finger gloves). Most are made with a leather of some sort with palm padding (deerskin, cowhide, pigskin, lambskin, synthetic leather, etc) and are pretty durable. Amazon has a bunch listed from $5-20.00.
