I was looking something up on USAC and thought I could find a link to it from "My USAC" page. When I was there I noticed that I have 33 points on my license, based on the finishes of 9 races.

Are these upgrade points?

I ask because it doesn't seem like they are. According to my calculations, I have 14 points from this year (7+4+3), not 33. I placed 7th or worse in six of those nine races, and I don't think I get points for those races.

I only did crits, and they are supposed to have just 6 places for ponts. Even for road races, where the points go to 9 places, the numbers don't match. I got a point for a 10th place finish (?).

Is USAC trying out something new?
