There are gang of speedskaters that frequent the local trail. We normally rest at the beach where a group of cyclists and skaters rest. It's funny to sit there and listen to them tell stories of how they dropped or kept up with cyclists.

It's funny that none of the 50 or so that I've encountered, including the uniformed paceline groups have ever kept up. I've had a couple keep up for an 1/8 of a mile or so but never for any lengthy period of time. I'm thinking these tales of droping cyclist were encouters with 90 year old women on MTB's!

I'm sure there is a "Lance" of inline skating somewhere, but I haven't met up with him!
