you should slide the saddle back and slightly down to alleviate pressure on your hands.

it has nothing to do with suspension, it's all about how you are fit on the bike. MTB and hybrids tend to give a more upright position so there's less weight on your hands.
the redline is more inline with a CX/road bike, which puts you in a more aero position.

To put less weight on your hands in either position, you have to sit further back on the saddle.
