Ooops forgot! I have gripshift on my backup tourer (converted mtb with trekking bars) and I love them. I think I was thinking more of shifters on road style bars -on trekking or mtb bars, I much prefer gripshift to Rapidfire or even thumbies. But like Neil says, you can get used to almost anything.
