Yes, threaded valves. I don't really know why, it's just what the guy hands me when I ask for a tube. I guess I like having the retention those little spin on discs provide, though I'm not sure it's necessary.

It's a cheapo Ascent "Mega Force" floor pump from Performance Bike. Other than occasionally getting stuck, and often being difficult to remove, it does what I'd want in a floor pump, it puts air in my tires up to the pressures I want. :shrug:
