I could blame my recent hernia operation for skipping this one, but instead I will just say that it holds no allure for me. I've ridden to the top of Iowa Hill Rd about four times now and I think that's enough. I also find the rest stops and support inadequate compared to other organized rides in which I have participated. In addition, I live here and can ride those roads anytime I like if I so choose without having to pay for it. The whole event pretty much leaves me blah...
