Ehh, the STP route is OK but I would suggest taking rt30 out to the coast and then bike up and around Olympic NP. Then take the ferry across to Vancouver island to Victoria, head north, and then take the ferry from Swartz Bay back across to Vancouver, BC. You could take the eastern way around the Olympics on your way to Canada and then take the western route along the shore for your route down to Mexico (for different scenery).
