99% of the time I prefer simple lugs over all other variations. Curlicues and anything ornate just irritate the hell out of me. Can't get into it. Give me simple pointed lugs, or maybe webbed if I'm feeling kinky.
for a minute i thought i was going crazy. those curly lugs look good on some bikes, like a curly stays hetchins or an older bike, but they're just too over the top on most bikes. it looks like lace doilies on plastic covered furniture, it doesn't look fast and racy. it's overly ornamental
