A good TIG-welded joint looks like a row of quarters, flopped over, no matter what material you're working with. Small and tidy, with the puddles evenly sized and spaced.
Erggg, you're totally right, not sure what I was thinking about Pegoretti, my apologies.
I actually own a Steelman, and once the paint is over it, those welds are so smooth you'd never know, that's why I was saying I'd want better from an expert.
