My first 10speed Huffy had a Hurett. They may be terrible but they worked, were reliable, and I didn't know any better. Ford Model T's were terrible by todays standards but they sure served a purpose and ole Henry sold millions of them. I would not be too good to use one on a vintage ride. Send your junk ones my way...
