I just got a cruiser myself for the same reason. It ended up turning out pretty flashy though and although I didn't comparatively spend that much on it, it still says "steal me" It's fun to ride though, took me a while to learn how to cruise though, I was always trying to make it go too fast.
Isn't this always the case? I bought a single speed city bike and then painted it nicely and now it is too nice to lock up. But I don't like riding around on a ***
