The meltdown started early, but at noon there were still a few impressive patches of ice. One was about 30 feet long on a sloping part of the trail. Just put the feet out and glissaded on by that one.
There were a lot of riders out today in Minneapolis. Most of them going slow, swerving around puddles, and doing the splits on their bikes to keep their legs dry when a large puddle was unavoidable. In the western suburbs there were a lot of people walking on the trails making biking a lot like running a never ending obstacle course.
