Haven't thought about riding my old uni in a long time. Just pulled it out, a Schwinn 20", and I need a new tire. Think I'll try to pick one up and take it out for a spin. Back in '74-'76 I used to ride it 1 mile to school each day. It was better than walking, but you should have seen the looks I got with a gym bag in one hand and a trumpet case in the other. The longest I think I rode it is in the '76 parade, had to circle forever waiting for the bands and all. It was a 2.5 mile route, but we must have put on 5 or more. How do I mount a cycle computer on a uni??

My local bike club is going to start having a few "ice cream rides", 2-5 miles at 6-10 mph. For families of the club, young kids included. Nothing more than a social with food. After I see how fast I can go on it I'll try it on one of the rides.
