You have the wrong attitude. You want drivers to be UNCOMFORTABLE about sharing adjacent road space with you. As in ... you want them to pass at safe distances. You really should not be concerned whether they like it or not. It is something beyond your control.

The Dinotte light is so bright and focused that drivers will not want to be in it's "cone of red".

I've had about enough of riders buzzing me lately. Sometimes in scarry ways. The semi that passed me the other day was just about enough. If I can sear their retinas if the attempt too closely, it's something I would very much like to do.

Finally, the only people you CAN educate are the ones that yield unnecessarily. Like the ones who will wait at a stop sign for 20 seconds while you approach it. These are kinds souls but they are acting in an unpredictable manner. They need to take their right away and clear the intersection so I don't have to wonder if they're texting and will suddenly bolt into the intesection while I'm in it.
