Bikes: the ever shifting stable loaded with comfortable road bikes and city and winter bikes

lawful road bicycling increases in communities as a result of onroad bikeways planning and use of bike specific roadscape design.

the presence of some red light runners and wrong way cyclists is not an inditement against roadway enhancements to bicycling under best practices of bikeways planning.

Its astonishing to see in the downtown cores and across suburban areas of well accommodated cities with active on road bikeways planning..... bicyclists at every light, the veritable commuter 'conga lines' of lawful road bicyclists utilizing best vehicular cycling practices on main route roads that are part of a considered bikeway network across communities.

.....this is not my 'opinion' about how roadway design that facilitates road bicycling works. as genec opines,

on a side note, check out this wave of morning summer commuters swarming out onto downtown seattle streets from one of the cross Sound ferries. these bicyclists will go on to engage in mostly lawful roadway bicycling across a city with a bike master plan and a bikeways system that facilitates lawful road bicycling.

this is a transportation system that is considering giving over more space to bikes from cars on the ferry decks because of the changing ways people transit public space.... seems bikes are more profitable per square foot that motorists to boot!
