I would say: Forget it!

A Chinese knock-off version of an out-of-business French bicycle manufacturer, unless you are a very good bike-mechanic, is going to be trouble.

First off - you will have no warranty whatsoever. No support from your local bike-shop.

Secondly - you will need to hire a bike-mechanic to assemble this for you. And do it right. It's not just using a wrench and a pair of pliers - DONE RIGHT.

Add $200 to the price for above.

Thirdly - if anything goes wrong, and things like cables stretching and brakes going out of adjustment WILL happen, you will have to pay full-fare at a shop to have these things tended to.

So I reiterate: If you, personally, are not a very good bike-mechanic (with a fleet of specialized tools), you are looking at a very much higher cost than it appears.

Oh my - from when I put this out to write - the OP went and did it. Let my words stand to future readers. And 143gadgets - please keep us informed on how this works out for you? Thank you!
