The best feature of my 305 was the Speed/Cadence/HR based workouts. I figured power-based workouts would be a dead ringer for the 705. FAIL! (fail the 705 and my assumption) And the new 500 !!!??? FAIL!! dumbfounded. An outdoors ERGOMETER for doing SST or L4 - I would gladly reinvest in an audible "coach" to keep me focused - am I the only one?
I don't understand your "fail the 705" statement. You can do power based workouts with the 705.
