Personally I'd consider looking at Fox, Pace or Marzocchi as well - all three generally produce better forks than Manitou or RockShox.

Of course if you go for Marzocchi's you might have the same problem I've got in that the ones I'm after are back ordered with the supplier, because they're so popular...
