An x5 is not a Ford Excursion. In fact, I could probably carry the beamer AND my tandem in the back of my SUV. I agree with Tandemgeek and SteveE. Use a tape measure...unless the x5 left you penniless
I guess it's a toss-up between the cost of operating a gas hog and conspicuous consumption.
