The 2009 Tarmac comp has a retail price of $2700 and has a 105 component range. The wheels are Mavic Aksiums so are not a stock machine built wheel. Rest of the spec. is good so you would not be getting a pup.

Only thing to do is test ride. If you are tempted- then the test ride will seal it or make you want to look at other bikes that may not be as good. My own feeling is that the ride could be a bit stiff with the Aksiums so test ride on some rough roads.
