Guys arguing the merits of skinny jeans...priceless, you all are.

Anyways, jeans have historically been slim fitting. It's just that recent decades have popularized baggy denim. Women's jeans tend to have much more elastic in the fabric, which make them more comfortable for cycling in. For guys it's probably a good idea not to buy super low cut ones though, or else it'll be too tight for your junk.

Personally I prefer a miniskirt and leggings. They have to be pretty short to not be flapping in the wind or being a mess while spinning, which sometimes is awkward. If I ever actually do get to make apparel, I want to make something between cycling shorts and leggings. Normal shorts are really intense if you're wearing them all day, while at work or whatever.
