Virtually all hosting plans specify a maximum monthly data throughput. See

If a host claims to offer free unlimited bandwidth with their hosting plans, there is still a limit, they just aren't telling you what it is. The fact is, bandwidth costs money, which is not to say the original poster can't get a better deal. In fact, you can start by looking at the linked page. I use

As for porn sites, they charge membership fees. That covers their costs. And then some.
