Today there was a lot of holiday weekend traffic, and waiting for a break in the line of traffic in order to walk across to the right side of the road then remount was taking up my commuting time. Instead, I just said to heck with it ( cleaned up version of what I really said , something to do with copulation) and utlized the sidewalk that's on the left. The ride was fine- took the ugly car-infested route in again- I must like the feeling of my life being endangered and my existence being threatend by a trigger foot on a gas pedal. A concerned driver who didn't want me as a hood ornament on her SUV did a warning honk- I came up to her at the light and went "PUHH!" as if I hocking a loogey into her open passenger side window. All the exhaust fumes and crispy 62° air I breathed in gave me a nagging cough, but it went away after I drank some water. I got to work at 1:17, and had to work at 2. One pound to 1¼ lb lobsters were on sale for $4.99/lb and we were plum out- it made my day!
