Dave-- Yeah, for some reason the angular look of the aeroheads just really appeals to me. I mainly like them b/c of the way they look, but I also like the fact that they are lighter than Deep Vs. I will make sure to get butted spokes, though. If radial lacing turns out to be too weak or too much of a PITA, I will probably just do 3x on the front as well. Right now, this is an ideal wheel build, I realize I might have to compromise for cost/function reasons.

I would def. buy Formula hubs if it weren't for the looks. I personally think they are great hubs, probably smoother and more durable than any of the hubs I have had on my road bikes. The Sputnik comes w/ a Formula low flange hub on the stock wheelset, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

There is a black pista concept on velospace somewhere that has a very similar wheelset to what I want. Unfortunately, that website is sucking the big one right now and I can't find the pic.
