Bikes: Trek Émonda, 1961 Follis (French) road bike (I'm the original owner), a fixie, a mountain bike, etc.

"Markleeville Death Ride has a lottery to get in."

Not last year - first come, first served on two dates a month or so apart.

I rode the Climb to Kaiser - 13,500, 150 miles - twice on a mt. bike equipped with very narrow tires. My road bike a the time didn't have low gears (and I saw several people on road bikes walking, because they were on doubles rather than triples).

So you'll be able to make the ride, but you'll suffer for it with the set-up you've got.
