I'm a Michigan native but I've never ridden the DALMAC, then left Michigan in 1977. Back around 1971 though as I recall, when I first heard of it, I thought it was so cool that I called Dick Allen's office, and spoke to him while he was in a session of the legislature. I'm glad it has become such a tradition. Back then TOSROV and the Wolverine Belle Isle Marathon were the big rides I was aware of. I did the latter once. Thanks for the memories.
