I hope that eventually all the NiMHs will be low-self-discharge. Right now they're charging a premium for them, but it turns out the only difference is that there's a piece of electrolyte paper soaked in de-ionized water in the LSD batteries. Probably costs about 1/2 of a penny to put in, they double the price of the battery in response.
