My '89 Peugeot P8 has a bottle generator that is on a hair trigger. Any small jolt will trip the mechanism that holds the bottle away from the tire, and drops the bottle into contact with the tire, generating lights when I don't want it. I've examined the bottle and the lever that releases the bottle, and I don't see a way to disassemble it. Online research reveals nothing about this problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Except for "remove the generator and lamps", because I like these French extras on the bike.
