Welcome! I see you're already come down with a case of Upgrade-itis, well the best thing to do is ride what you have and the more you ride whatever you're not happy with will become more apparent or not. Bottomline is to focus on riding and impoving your riding than getting stuck in the gizmo race which can get costly. I probably would have gone with a compact over a triple because I hear complaints about shifting on triples but that can result from a poorly maintained bike as well so as the saying goes: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
