So when my wheel is spinning, with pedals cranking or wheel spinning backwards, by gear set seems to wobble a bit. It does not move at all when the wheel is just free spinning, ie the cluster is not spinning. Any idea what would cause this and what it would take to fix?
Bearing play in freewheels and freehub bodies are set by shims, which makes the process a bit cumbersome if you want to get it
exactly right, so it's not uncommon for them to have a bit of play. If it really bugs you it is possible to pull the unit apart and try a thinner shim, but usually there isn't much to gain by it performance wise.
