So I was doing a sprint tri today, was on the bike portion(obviously), had about 3 miles to go and mother nature struck me down via whitetail deer. Buck even, so that was the icing on the cake. Anywho, hit me on the left side and knocked me 15 feet off the road while I was doing 22-ish miles an hour into a thicket of thorns. Needless to say this big ass deer eliminated all forward inertia I had and straight pancaked me. Bike's(Cannondale Ironman, full dura-ace) suffered a dented top tube and some deer hair on the aero bars. Lucked out there....
