Core work and some light upper body work today. Light upper body meaning that's all I can lift. Egad, I'm a weakling. It was hilarious watching me working with the 15lb dumbbells and the guy behind me bench pressing 350 or more.
But what is also funny is that my legs are way more defined and more muscular than these guys*. And I way 100 pounds less than them. I barely see any of them working legs. Every time I go in there most of them are working beach muscle (chest and arms).
Tomorrow will be a few V02s or Orr Rd. Saturday is one of my last races this year. This was the race I won last year - somewhat easily. But the course is different and doesn't suit me well. I'm not so good a flat crits. Give me a hill to separate the field.
*not really bragging but let me have my moment. I'm old and don't have much left to brag about.
