I'm not going to think about the top tube. I thought it was important, but reading the responses makes me realize there are more important factors to weigh in on deciding which frame to go with. I still lean towards a level top tube though, and will most likely go with that. The old 80's steel frame bike I'm riding now is designed that way, and I like it, so I might as well stick with it.
