Cold and dark, at least for the first 10 or 15 minutes. Had to use my headlight. My first mile is downhill, and on most days I just coast down, hitting a peak speed of about 40 - 42 mph. Today I used the brakes so I didnt' outride my light!

Other than that, a normal, uneventful ride.
